Permaculture Design Consulting

Roots & Sky is a Permaculture Design Consulting service that provides creative solutions for ecological land stewardship.

Over the years, we’ve worked with urban and rural land-stewards, farmers, homesteaders, and non-profit organizations to address pressing issues of stormwater management, expanding food and medicine production, efficient energy and site planning, and increasing habitat ecosystems that add diversity and beauty the land.

Our services are streamlined to focus on the design and consulting aspects, providing guidance on your journey as we work with you to create the design you need. Recent projects included providing permaculture consulting to residential properties, urban farms including Bliss Meadows (Baltimore, MD) and Sol Garden Creations (Highland Park, MI), as well as rural farms Nutwood Farm (Cummington, MA) and Beaverbrook Farm (Dracut, MA). The consultation packet that accompanies the design provides resources for recommended plants, supplies, and materials as well as a project phasing plan.
