Recover from harsh winter with the Rite of Spring - Ritual Bathing Kit for Rebirth.

This collection features a skin-healing herbal blend of calendula flowers, chamomile flowers and comfrey leaves - all grown organically and harvested from Roots & Sky’s medicine garden. Each item was crafted with an oil extraction using the solar infusion method, where healing herbs are suspended in nourishing oils and set before the late winter sunshine for weeks to extract their healing properties using the warmth of the sun on those days when spring is feeling close- thereby imbuing the oils with the energy and possibilities of the growing season ahead.

The ℜ𝔦𝔱𝔢 𝔬𝔣 𝔖𝔭𝔯𝔦𝔫𝔤 herbal soap features oils infused with healing herbs comfrey, calendula and chamomile from my garden to gently restore winter-rough skin. The spring green hue comes from a blend of comfrey leaves that tone, moisturize, and regenerate skin, therapeutic-grade organic blue chamomile oil for reducing inflammation and dryness, and skin oil-balancing European green clay.

The perfect match for healing winter chapped skin is found in this new luxurious, moisturizing ℜ𝔦𝔱𝔢 𝔬𝔣 𝔖𝔭𝔯𝔦𝔫𝔤 sugar scrub. Enjoy the energizing fragrances of lemonbalm, cedar and bay while gently exfoliating sugar massages off dry skin while nourishing, healing herb-infused coconut and olive oils deeply moisturize.

Then treat your winter-chapped skin to the 𝙱𝙾𝚃𝙰𝙽𝙸𝙲𝙰𝙻 𝙷𝙴𝙰𝙻𝙸𝙽𝙶 𝚂𝙰𝙻𝚅𝙴 𝚏𝚘𝚛 𝙷𝙰𝚁𝙳𝚆𝙾𝚁𝙺𝙸𝙽𝙶 𝙷𝙰𝙽𝙳𝚂 - specially formulated with calendula and comfrey to help heal minor wounds and splits to soften and regenerate skin.

This collection was named in honor of the dance choreographer Pina Bauch’s modern interpretation of Igor Stravinsky’s Rite of Spring orchestral ballet. The performance opens with dancers crawling out of the darkness, through dirt. Their white dresses and bodies become filthy as they rise and intertwine ecstatically. The intensity mimics the force that pushes life through the frozen ground, springing forth with new life and wild furious energy.

This dance compliments the Full Moon of March: The Worm Moon, when all the creatures begin to stir in the warming soil underground. What is stirring in you this month?

As you cleanse during your ritual bath, remember that washing with chamomile is thought to bring prosperity and protection. Bay, cedar and lemonbalm are often used for energetic cleansing and calendula is very good for moving us through stagnant energy. Happy Spring!
